Bio-Diversity

As part of outback back living it is necessary to be as self sufficient as possible, this is achieved by production of fruit and
vegetables by bio-organic methods.  Water is pumped by solar pump to an overhead tank and is available by gravitation to  the
garden and orchard through drip irrigation.  This also provides water for domestic use.
Lawn clippings and leaf litter is used in the gardens as natural mulch where worms assimilate it back into the soil.
All power is self generated by solar panels or wind generator in addition to using alternative fuel to
operate farm machinery, vehicles and generators.  A hydrogen generator has also been built and trailed with success.
We are fully committed to the ongoing development and expansion of our bio-diverse projects and increased self sufficiency.
